A brewing obsession.

Owning a winery is thirsty work. And as every winemaker knows, it takes a lot of good beer to make great wine. The two have more in common than you might imagine — coaxing flavor out of grapes is actually a lot like the fine-tuning involved in craft brewing.

Akash Patel, owner and operator of Akash Winery & Vineyards, thought to himself, “Why not make our own great beer?”

Akash was smitten with 8bit Brewing the first time he visited their production facility, just a stone’s throw from Akash Vineyards. Who wouldn't be? (people who hate beer? folks with no tastebuds?)

From the people to the packaging to the cold, delicious adult beverage inside each can, he sensed 8bit was a home run, through and through.

That first visit to 8bit set the stage for many to follow. A budding friendship between Akash and the brothers behind 8bit, Chris and Jeff Keyson, led to the inevitable — Akash Brewing.

Stroll through the vineyards

With 8bit as our mentors, we now make our own spectacular beer to fuel our winemaking efforts — OK, really so you can enjoy it too. On our patio, cold and crisp from the tap, hopefully with your very own soulmate, or at least a budding bromance.

Our limited-release nanobrews are available on tap, in tallboys, and as refillable growlers at Akash Winery. Park yourself on our gorgeous, open-air patio overlooking the vineyards, where you’ll find local food trucks, live music, and seasonal events are yours to enjoy while you sip that beer.
